Miscellany Monday

{1}  I am 13 weeks today!  I feel like it is going by so fast.  We went to the doctor last week, and we got to hear the heart beat with the doppler.  I loved it!

{2} I just looked up the dates for Kid's Market, and I am so exciting because I will find out the baby's gender the week before the consignment sale!

{3} I coach the Pelham High School cheerleaders, and we have our first competition this weekend!  I cheered and competed when I was in junior high and high school.  When my girls compete, I get nervous and excited just like I use to when I was competing!

{4} Since my sister is living in New York as a nanny, I am really hoping to visit her over spring break.  The only problem is that with Baby S on the way we are trying to save money and flights are so expensive.  If anyone knows of any good deals, please let me know!

{5} I am looking forward to my shows tonight, but I always have a hard time deciding what to record to watch later and what to watch live!

Guess What???

We are going to have a baby in August!  My due date is August 8th to be exact.  We are so excited and can't wait to be a family of four (including Malik).  I will be 13 weeks on Monday, so almost to the 2nd trimester:) 

Also, I would like to wish my little sister a Happy 25th Birthday!  I love you so much and can't wait to see her next weekend and celebrate!

ONE

My sister had her baby last Wednesday.  I am in love.  I am going to see her again this afternoon!  I will post more about her later:)

TWO

Today was the first Monday we have worked since Dec 13th, and I can already tell this is going to be a long week!

THREE

My little sister is coming home in 10 days, and I can's wait to see her.  I am hoping she will bring me some clothes that I can borrow for a while!!!

Gossip Girl starts back tonight!  

FIVE

I am really looking forward to Spring..... I have not been able to take my students out on the playground since November, and they are in need of some fresh air and sunshine!  I am too for that matter:)

Concrete jungle where dreams are made of

New York! My little sister moved to New York to be a nanny. She is going to have so many opportunities to travel and adventures to experience. She will be taking numerous trips to the Bahamas, and they have already scheduled a ski trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming! These are both places Eli and I what to visit, so I am a little jealous. Not to mention she will be in New York where is actually snows in the winter time:) My mom and stepdad rode up with her yesterday, and they will get to spend a few days sightseeing. She will be living in a one bedroom cottage on the family's property, so I am already planning a trip up over spring break!

She will be missed greatly, but we have already made her promise to return in at least a year or so. She has also promised to visit every 2 months. My family and I are super close, so this will definitely be a change from what we are use to. She will be home for a few days around CHRISTmas, and I am already looking forward to a sister sleepover!

Miscellaneous Monday

1.  I am so happy that it is Christmas time, and I can listen to CHRISTmas music all the time:)  A few of my favorites:

2.  My sister is leaving for New York Wednesday Morning!  I will have a post dedicated to her later in the week telling you all about it.

3.  I watched Eclipse last night!  Fabulous as always..... it makes me want to read the series again.  Maybe over CHRISTmas Break.

4.  I am a die hard BAMA fan!  I mean I literally bleed crimson:) but I am a bit torn about the NC game!  I mean, I am sick of ESPN saying how the SEC is overrated and not as good as they have been in years past.  I would love for Oregon (the team they have been worshipping all season) to lose to an SEC team, but cheering for Auburn is next to impossible!  Atleast I have a few weeks to  decide!  Come on.... it really would show the college football nation that the SEC is a force to be reckoned with because Auburn come VERY close to losing to over half of the other SEC teams they played!

5.  Only 9 days left til CHRISTmas vacation!  Can't wait:)   

Here it is!!!

One of my new favorite shows this year is GLEE. I started watchin it a little late and only saw the last 3 or 4 episodes, so I put the first part of the season on my queue for Netflix. The show is awesome, and I definitely recommend it! This helps to explain why I was so excited about one of Halle's new adventures. (Halle is my neice who is 8) She went to a camp that was similar to Glee or a show choir. They taught them songs and dances that they got to perform on the last day for their friends and family. The camp was for ages 5-18, and they performed in four groups: K and 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 4th and 5th, and 9th-12th. The performances were great, and I have to admit that I wish I did something like that when I was younger. Here are a few pics from "Summer Show-Offs":)
